Wavera Signal · Issue 01

Giving time back to cancer care teams.

A message from CEO Dr. Wei Yang

Dear Partners and Friends,

Welcome to the first issue of the Wavera Signal. You are receiving it because you have partnered with us, supported us, or asked to follow our progress. In each issue, we will share one real workflow we have improved, what we are building next, and what we are learning from the clinics we work with. It takes about three minutes to read.

As a practicing oncologist and physician-engineer, I see every day how administrative work pulls care teams away from what matters most: their patients.

Oncology carries too much administrative friction and too little time for patients. We started Wavera to change that. Our founding team pairs clinical practice with engineering: I'm joined by Dr. Arthi Sridhar, our Chief Medical Advisor, and Ananth Sivasubramanian, our CTO, who has spent more than 15 years building and integrating EHR systems for major health systems. Together we are building an AI-native EHR made specifically for cancer care.

One system for oncology workflows

Wavera brings clinical, financial and operational data into a single platform, then puts AI agents to work on the routine tasks. That lets us reduce complex workflows to their most efficient core.

What we are building

  • Luna drafts the visit note while you talk with your patient, with real-time chart reference and suggested next steps. Pilot
  • Atlas builds treatment regimens grounded in clinical guidelines. Pilot
  • Inventory tracks in-office drugs with a scan. Live
  • Revenue cycle handles prior authorizations and claims. In development
  • Trials matching screens, matches and enrolls patients in clinical trials. In development
One system for oncology: EHR, labs, pharmacy, billing, prior auth, trials, inventory, scheduling, imaging and pathology in one place

See it in action

We are grateful for your partnership as we remove redundant work and give time back to care teams. If something here is useful, or something is missing, just reply to this email. We read every response.

Warm regards,

Wei Yang, M.D.
