Can a fly navigate an EMR?
A leaky integrate-and-fire simulation of the complete MaleCNS connectome steers the cursor, clicks and keystrokes in two EHR replicas, with wiring-shuffled controls.
A readout of 2,129 descending and motor neurons, trained to imitate a demonstrator, chose every action every 50 ms and finished 100 of 100 runs in each lane. Shuffled wiring at the same gain finished none; activity-matched shuffles finished 0 or 74 of 100 and needed about twice the decisions.
